My dearest swan babies are handmade from white stoneware, intricately painted to look like either white or black swans, and each one has a pearlescent overglaze giving them a magical sheen. The black ones look like they swam through an oil spill...which isn't so romantic, but is very pretty!
One swan has a patchy overglaze application. To be fair to me, it's totally invisible when applying to the black swans, so I couldn't see what I was doing. That swan is marked as a second and priced accordingly.
Swans range from 3.5-7cm tall, so unlike a real swan, they cannot break your bones.
