So my cat, Turnip, is getting dental surgery because his teeth are super gross, and cause him pain every day. Except that he also has diabetes and sorting that out was pretty expensive, now he gets insulin shots daily and eats special food and that all costs us a few hundred dollars a month. Luckily for him he’s the sweetest and most aggressively friendly cat I’ve ever known. Despite being the most expensive stray ever, I’d like to keep him around a little while longer.
All the money from these charms will go towards paying his substantial vet bills. I’ll be releasing the available charms in batches to keep me from getting too overwhelmed. So if this listing is Sold Out, keep checking or check on Instagram for the date of the next drop.
These charms are made from white stoneware, meticulously hand sanded to a smooth finish. They are unglazed and prone to staining, so keep away from food and grime. If they do get dirty, soap and water and a light scrub works well. Avoid using anything abrasive, especially near the sparkles. The sparkles are real gold! The beads are made by hand! And everything is strung together by me!
After purchasing I’ll follow up with an email requesting photos of your fur baby. You’ll get a floating head a few sparkles and their name, hand lettered. Light coloured pets will get a black background. If you would like a black background anyway, let me know in the follow up email, or leave a note with your purchase. These are obviously made to order, so once I have photos it will be at least 3 weeks before your piece is ready to ship. They’ll need to be fired one more time, which means I’ll have to fill up the kiln. Likely, I will take on a few batches before you get your shipping notification, so don’t stress if you don’t hear anything for a little while. If you are worried feel free to email me and I’ll happily update you on the progress of your piece.
Do not order this if you need it for a certain time or event. Ceramics is fraught with chaos and I cannot guarantee a timeline. If you do not heed this warning and send me frantic emails about timing I won’t have any fucks to give you. Once I have started production on your piece there will be no refunds, since I cannot sell custom pieces to anyone else.
